Little drops…

The heart is a small section of the whole body. It only takes one to damage the heart to get the whole body damaged.

This is the same strategy the devil uses with the world. All he needs is to get a member of a family, OR the family; small section of the whole world damaged.

We should always have these at the back of our minds before complaining about the state of the country; Is the state of the ‘small section'(family) of the country we’re in good? (“little drops of water makes a mighty ocean” just as “little drops of evil makes a mighty evil”)

Before ‘casting the first stone’, saying, “the leaders are bad”, lets always endeavor to ask ourselves first; ‘am I a good leader?, am I not also corrupt in my dealings?, am I not also self-centered? (which mostly results in greed), do I love my fellow human beings enough? because believe you me, it all starts from You and I. The country being a good place to live, the leaders being able to lead appropriately, and the world being able to become better all depends on You (and I), a team member in the small section (family) of the world.

In order to win the trophy, all the members in a football club work as a “team”. The mid-fielders, strikers, defenders, etc, all have their role to play individually but still depend on each other at some certain point in order to have a successful match.

Though the team work together, the scorer of the ‘winning’ goal which leads to victory in a match is most celebrated (at times raised high on shoulders and carried round) not the ones that has been scoring before hand (although they are noted too). The name of most players become popular because of the large amount of success that they have brought to their team by scoring winning goals against the opponent.
Same goes for we believers; It’s not about the ones that has been scoring before hand (although they are noted too), it is about those scoring the ‘winning’ goal; about those who will still continue to work hard at scoring till the end of the match (life).
Matthew 20:16 → So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

In order to disrupt the success of a ‘winning’ team, all the opponent need do is sow seeds of discord amongst them which results in unseemly acts → superiority amongst players, instead of teaming up each wants to do it all alone (which mostly results in the failure of the team).
And just same way, the enemy also uses the “divide and conquer” rule to bring down believers.

It is not the beginning that matters most times (even in a match) but the end (Ecclesiastes 7:8 → Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit). Still fervent for God?

At the end of the match, gold medals are given to each player on the winning side; Same way, “gold crowns” will be given to each believer who played hard on the field (world) – [was kicked hard on the field, pushed, fell and got injured, received insults from opponents as well as team mates, etc…] 2 Timothy 4:8, 1 Peter 5:4, Revelation 2:10.

Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Are you still fervent at scoring against the opposing side? OR have you given up?(which is what the opponents wants you to do anyways…)
