Reading through the Bible with a divine understanding, we won’t fail to note that The Trinity has always been in sync, working together. We can see Jesus and the Holy Spirit working at the beginning of creation, creating man in its spirit form in Genesis chapter 1 and Jehovah (GOD the Father) continuing with the creation in its physical form in Gen 2:4 [God (Jesus) ended His creation in Gen 2:2-3 and the LORD God started His in Gen 2:4] Proverbs 8:22-30. Maybe this will shed more light on the saying that “the spiritual controls the physical” i.e., things pertaining to life are settled spiritually first before physically manifesting. Heb 1:2, 8-10.
John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.”
In 1 Kings 19:9-15, Jesus (Word of the Lord(Rev 19:13), Jn1:1) came to answer Elijah first and after hearing what Elijah had to say granted him access to the Father (Jehovah) by telling him to go and stand upon the mount before the LORD (1 kings 19:11a). [John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. “]
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
GOD the Son (Word of the LORD) interacted with different anointed men then; Daniel, Solomon, David, Elijah…to mention but a few and none of them measured up to the task of saving human-kind so “The Word of the LORD” had to come down to carry out this great task Himself. Owing, I guess, to one of the facts that His delight has always been with the sons of men just as He Himself is the delight of the Father (Prov 8:30-31)
Not accepting Him as your Lord and Savior via word and action is akin to putting a gun to the head of someone who rescued you from the den of terrorists bent on slaughtering, and then pulling the trigger. Heb 9:23-28, 1 John 4:1-3.
2 John 1:9 “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”
1 Timothy 2:5“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
