Thank You Holy Spirit.
Not every leading of The Holy Spirit takes us into “perfect situations”. He actually leads us into the wilderness at times to get us trained and developed spiritually, molding us into the vessel fit for His use.
Luke 4:1) And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2) Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
From this scripture above, we can very well note that even Jesus Christ our Savior underwent His “training” in the wilderness via the leading of The Holy Spirit after which He(Jesus) got more empowered and strengthened, all ready for His assignment, Luke 4:14.
NOTE: For The Holy Spirit to use you, He’ll have to mould you (via being allowed to face diverse “trainings”; trials & temptations) into who He needs you to be – someone fit and able to complete designated assignments.
Isn’t Jesus Christ so magnanimous and selfless?, wanting you to get trained&taught by the “Master” who trained&taught Him.
Now, pay attention to these explanations;
2 Thessalonians 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
NKJV records vs 7b as “only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”
The Holy Spirit is that “He who restrains….”.
He restrains the kingdom of darkness from fully manifesting because He still has the children of GOD; joint-heirs with Christ here to safeguard.
During those times we (joint-heirs) need to undergo our trainings (1Peter 1:7, 1Corinth 3:13), accepting we want to be trained, The Holy Spirit removes His “restraint” that was barricading us from the enemy (just like He did with Jesus in Matt 4 & Luke 4) giving satan access to try our faith and tempt us, and after that stage has been finished, He places the restraint back.
Power to wrought wonders is released into the believer after a successful completion of the training.
Most believers are not empowered but rather live in fear because they fail each training exercise and unknowingly run into the hands of their tempter (satan – the world) because they’re either too weak or too lazy for trainings; they only crave the “good” and are not ready for the “bad” and the “ugly”. These ones will rather use “grace” as cover-up, believing they shouldn’t have to serve or do any strenuous work.
Are you now prepared for your training? #BetterNowThanNever
