Matthew 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
Matthew 23:26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Thank You Holy Spirit.
Fellowshipping with brethren and going to Church is good but please, let’s not forget that personal relationship with the Almighty is also key because on that day you won’t be standing in front of GOD with the congregation to get judged.
It is therefore wise to develop a relationship now with Him who you’re going to meet after you’re through here on earth.
The Israelites connected to GOD via Moses (who was the Priest entering the veil covered temple) back then and due to this, Moses had a lot to answer for; both to GOD and the people (what a burden!). In fact, Christ reported that Moses was still facing the music concerning Israel. John 5:45
Now, after the veil got torn due to Christ Jesus death (Matt. 27:51, Heb 10:20), You and I have access into the temple; which means that you and I get to answer for ourselves, meeting God one on one to account for our sins (no more sending in the Pastors and shaking the rope to see if they’re still alive) Rev 20:12-13
Jesus came and bore the burden that was too heavy for Moses and the likes, settling the score once and for all.
So, once again, I implore you brothers and sisters; “Cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter” – Develop a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.
Happy Resurrection Day!!!
