People carry crosses that has nothing to do with Jesus the Christ.
Crosses which are results of certain of our failings, and sins.
Crosses we carry because of the foolishness of disobedience.
There’s no reward for carrying such crosses.
“Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if YOU SUFFER FOR DOING GOOD AND ENDURE IT PATIENTLY, GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU.”-1 Peter 2:20.

Nobody, including yours sincerely, wants to suffer for doing good. But Jesus assured us that if we are truly His disciples that’s exactly what must happen to us.

So to teach folks that when their relationship with GOD is good, they will have no cross to carry is a blatant LIE.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”-Psalm 34:19.
We develop spiritual muscles through the pains of afflictions.
GOD refines us in the fires of afflictions.
Even our Lord Jesus learned obedience through the things He suffered.

Listen: The Narrow Road Is Still Very Narrow.
“”Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”-Matthew 7:13-14.

*There is no successful athlete without the rigors of training. Christians should be Athletes.
*There is no successful soldier without the pains of training. Christians should be Soldiers.
*There is no successful pilgrim without the stoic austerity of pilgrimage. Christians should be Pilgrims.

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;”-2 Corinthians 4:17.

#Until We Come To The Unity Of Faith
~ Kenny Kore

Luke  9:23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke  14:27  And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

kill vanity and pride of the flesh. It also removes arrogance and haughtiness in one’s life.

Your CROSS might be your job, spouse, child, parents, finance, barreness, or being single.

The CROSS is not the end point of one’s life; it is one’s matrix for resurrected living.
~ Pst. Paul Adefarasin.
