Are you saved?

There is a real DANGER starring the churches in the face; It is a phenomenon that a lot of Christians are not even aware exists.

It is the possible self delusion of people thinking they are saved, when they actually are not saved.
A sinner who knows he is a sinner stands a greater chance at salvation than several so called Christians today who may only be waiting to get a rude shock when Jesus Christ comes and says to them,” get thee away from Me, you worker of iniquity, I do not know you!!!”

We have told people that because they came out for alter call at one time,

Because they joined the church’s work force,

Because they showed loyalty to their pastor, etc, that means they are saved.
*But it is possible to do all these things and NOT be saved.
You can be loyal to your pastor, and still be a friend of the world. A friend of the world is an enemy of GOD.
You could confess that Jesus is your savior, but actually not live for Him. It is not those who call Him Lord, but those who obey Him that shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
According to Scriptures;

It Is Possible For Someone To Be A Pastor Of A Large Cathedral, Yet Not Be Born Again.
You could be very famous all over the world, yet Jesus does not know you.
I was at a church where they preached about financial empowerment throughout the 3 services, then they made alter calls.
Do you preach mammon to people and reap Jesus Christ in them???
You are saved because you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, because you UNDERSTAND the implications of that decision, and because the life you now live, is to please Jesus Christ Alone.
If this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but cooperate with the Holy Spirit to work out its implications in every detail of our lives.
