OIL IN OUR LAMPS.

There were many of us outside the lecture room waiting for the arrival of the Examiner.

At 6pm someone noted that we might need light to write the exams when the Examiner finally arrives.
We had a torchlight each truly but none had battery in theirs.
Another person then suggested we should start praying for batteries to be sent our way. We prayed and prayed and prayed….
At about 8:50pm amidst prayers, I opened my eyes and noticed afar off a small shop opened and people buying(which was rare as this same shop almost never open). I then suggested we gather the little we could to go get batteries. James 2:14-26
Immediately, there was a ruckus…. I was tagged “faithless” by some while the others bought the idea.

The half who tagged me faithless continued with the prayers while the rest joined me to go get batteries.
The EXAMINER finally arrived at 9:30pm with a big glowing torch of His own and said only those with their torch on should enter into the class to sit for their exams. Luke 12:40

We who had gone to buy batteries into our torch went into the class while the others were left outside crying and saying “Had I known…”

Luke

12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

12:54 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

12:55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

Shalom!!!
