Unbelievers must see themselves LOST before they will cry for mercy.
They will not escape from danger until they see it.
The wicked will never flee from the wrath to come until they are fully satisfied there is wrath.
~ A.B. Earle
You can be a “minister” and still be unbelieving.
16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
GOD is a loving Father and a consuming fire (Heb 12:29). He can be loving now, and consuming the next instant.
To the wheats, He is a loving Father but to the tares, He is a consuming fire.
We have The TRINITY; GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT…
…And you cannot just choose the one you feel comfortable to work with out of the three and start thinking you have arrived. Not at all, because THEY ARE ONE!
I believe it is better to be consumed (receive the heat) now and then make necessary adjustments while grace is still available, than be consumed where there is no room for repentance.
The choice is yours.
“When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
