The LORD’s intent was definitely not to have “clones” but people who have been “formed” by His Word.
The enemy planted the clones(tares) amidst the formed ones(wheats) which is why the separation of both has to occur at the harvest(where GOD Himself, the creator of the original version, can do the separating) because as we all know, a clone and the original version look very much alike.
GOD cannot reason things out with clones because they’re clones (another word~ TARES)
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
(You can read the whole chapter)
1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
I don’t think He meant to clone people into just becoming like him, knowing that He also said
Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ_be_formed in you,
Becoming like Jesus~ thinking, talking, walking and working like Jesus Christ should be our ultimate goal.
That can only happen when we have stayed with Jesus.
Mark 3:14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been_with_Jesus.
Being with Jesus in order to become like Jesus is what Christianity is all about.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called #Christians first in Antioch.
A Christian is somebody that is Christ like not someone born into a Christian home and Christianed with a Christian name.
Christ likeness. That should be our goal.
