There is a King, King Él Elyon.

One day, he sent his son, down to the village where his people lived. This son was also king, equal to his father.

He was known as Yeshua HaMashiach. The Son-King. Jesus the Christ.

The Son-King came down and lived with his people. He loved them and wished to give his life for them.

One day, he climbed a mountain and began to speak to his people.

“You are the SALT of the earth,” he said.

Be salt.

For the world, you will be the antiseptic that kills the bacteria of  selfishness, lust, anger, pride, abuse, ego, wickedness, self-righteousness, perversions, etc.

Be salt.

For the world, you will be the ones who heal the earth, bring peace, joy, laughter, encouragement, support, etc. wherever you go.

Be salt.

For the world, you will be the Preservative. Who through the sharing of the Gospel of Christ Jesus, will bring long life to the inhabitants of the earth.

Be salt.

For the world, you will be the flavour; the ones who give taste to the lives of many souls who are lacklustre and without direction. Through you, they will find peace, love God, themselves and their neighbours, be wise and walk in truth.

This is what the Son-King said.

They heeded his words. Truly, they went into the world. For a while, everywhere they went, they spread their saltiness and lives were changed.

But soon, their successors got tired of spreading.

“Surely,” they thought. “Do we need to go about spreading salt? Can we not salt the earth from where we are?”

So they built beautiful salt-shakers. These salt containers, these buildings, were christened Churches

They further named their containers

※Christ Glorious Chapel.

※Jesus of Nazareth Ministries.

※Kingdom of Jéhovah Sharp Sharp International Ministries, a.k.a The Ultimate Solution Centre.

They appointed Chief Salters and named them bishops, priests, pastors, elders, etc.

These people regulated who could be salted and how much salt would be given out.

Every now and then, through evangelism programs and 3-day outreaches, they went out into surrounding streets and communities and  sprinkled a little salt.

Some would sprinkle and then build a saltshaker to mark their territory. They called these saltshakers branches and parishes.

And the salt began to identify themselves by their containers, rather than as brothers in Yeshua.

I am a Dunamite!

I am an Ambassador!

Catholic Forever!

Methodist till I die!

They forgot the Son-King’s words and became preoccupied with making money, driving big cars and building magnificent saltshakers for themselves. In doing so, they lost their saltiness.

“But if the salt loses its saltiness, how  can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot,” said Yeshua, the Son-King.

Having lost their taste and power, they sought other ways to stay relevant. For still, they couldn’t leave their containers.

“We need to bring the world to us,” they said. “How can we attract them?”

“It’s a youth program. Play Pana by Techno. That will attract the young people. Then we can now preach to them.”

So they invited actors, singers of lewd songs and comedians to “ministain – minister and entertain,” during church services.

They organized several programs and gave them pretty tags and banners.

Night of a Thousand Miracles and Wonders.

My Father, My Father, Who Stole My Wedding Gown?

Lord, Lord, These Witches Must Die.

Night of Deliverance:   Needed in the City, But Held Back in The Village.

They concocted new gospel.

“Sow a seed to unlock God’s blessings. If you sow this seed, by this time next year, you will be a car owner.”

“Tithe, that Yeshua may open the heavens and bless you. Or else Yeshua will punish you.”

“Honour your pastor, the Chief Salter, else his anointing will not cover you.”

‘Judge not, for you shall be judged.’

This meant, do not point others to their errors, nor tell them the truth.

Especially if a Chief Salter sinned. ‘Touch not my anointed,’ is what you’d hear.

After all, we’ve all erred. Let God be the judge.

“Yeshua loves you just as you are. There’s no need to change.”

They abandoned Yeshua’s words and turned to prophecies, signs and divinations.

“And in the last days, people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.

They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good.

They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.

They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”
