The Image on the Coin. In Luke 20:20-25 we read that Jesus was to be trapped by the Pharisees. They asked him in a crowd of people if it was “lawful” to pay taxes to the Caesar Rome. Jesus asked whose image on the coin it was and they replied “Caesars”. Jesus answered, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. The money belonged to Caesar because it carried his image. Man, by right, belongs to God, because we bear God’s image from creation. (Genesis 1:27) Satan hates us because of the image of God in us. He swings the hammer of sin, to ruin God’s image and swap it with his own. Blow after blow. But Jesus came. At the cross, He intercepted the blow. Christ the Savior is here! Satan is conquered. Not in the name of Satan, but “in the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Ask Him into your life today. Jesus will take you of the firing line of the devil. God bless you. Dare to share, please.
