THE GATHERING OF BELIEVERS.

The “gathering of believers” (just like a “rehab centre”) should be a place where people go to get better..

..Not a place where people go and get worse!

If people are coming to your “gathering” and getting worse, that’s enough sign _FRUIT_ to show that that “gathering” IS OF SATAN THE DEVIL.

Jesus who said “..In twos and threes”{Matthew 18:20} knows what He is talking about..

..Because when it starts getting to “twelves and thousands and millions”, Satan and his cohorts would have enough space to merge in with the “Wheat”. #WisdomIsProfitable!

“SEED OF FALSEHOOD..”

FACES ON THE WALL..

So, I saw faces on the wall this morning (part of which were the ones I saw on the “Shroud_of_Turin”)

And out of all the faces I saw (who all had big noses _ and terrible features_ ) #Judges13vs6a
“Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A “man of God” came unto me, and his countenance was LIKE THE COUNTENANCE OF AN _ANGEL OF GOD_, *VERY TERRIBLE*:”

One _who I also saw on the “Shroud”_ had (a small nose) fine features _and a smiling face_

I wondered at the faces _asking the Holy Spirit what all these meant_ and also asking why just one {having fine features} stood out from the rest.

The HolySpirit answered, reminding me of the story of “Lucifer” {a.k.a Satan} _who was God’s “beautiful” {Ezekiel 28:12,17} creation_ and who also happens to be a “trickster/conman/deceiver/etc {2 Corinthians11:14}. #Ezekiel28vs12-19 #Luke10vs18

[I perceived that Lucifer’s smile is as a result of the fact that he is successfully deceiving Humans to serve him {i.e, “his image” -Revelation 13:14-15} alone _2 Thessalonians 2:3-4_ instead of serving GOD. #SMHPathetically]

POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK!

Push the pure gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and You would be called a heretic by the Bible scholars of your day.

Those who resisted Jesus in his days were the Bible scholars (experts in the law) and the Pharisees and the rest in the staunch religious community.

No sorcerer, no witch or wizard resisted Him.

They called him the head of Beelzebub. They called him a glutton and a wine biber. They will call you names and they will resist you too.

Some will know what is called persecution for the first time in their lives, when they begin to take a stand for Christ alone. Get ready because they will throw you out of their meeting places.

Sadly they would think they are doing God a favor. Jesus Said:

“For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God.”
John 16:2 NLT

The Bible scholars of Jesus’ days knew a lot of scriptures, but when the “Message” of the scriptures appear in person to them, they resisted him.

Jesus said to them:
“You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. THESE SCRIPTURES ARE ALL ABOUT ME ! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want”.
John 5:39‭-‬40 MSG

Believe me, there are too many bible scholars in our days who have missed the forest for the trees.

They believe more in the ordinances and rudiments of the law than in the full implications of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Many of them truly came to Christ but they didn’t continue in Christ. They veered off to the rudiments of the law, much like the Galatian church that was sharply rebuked by Paul. Gal. 3

They preach from the Bible in the name of Christ but they don’t preach the gospel of Christ. They have become false teachers that Jesus and the early apostles warned us about.

Many of them have arisen to prominence. They have built structures and monuments on people’s ignorance.

Peter saw them coming so he warned :

“In the past there were false prophets among God’s people. It is the same now. You will have some false teachers in your group. They will teach things that are wrong—ideas that will cause people to be lost. And they will teach in a way that will be hard for you to see that they are wrong. They will even refuse to follow the Master who bought their freedom. And so they will quickly destroy themselves.

“Many people will follow them in the morally wrong things they do. And because of them, others will say bad things about the way of truth we follow.”
2 Peter 2:1‭-‬2 ERV

How do you recognize false teachers in the church? Watch out for those who deny the Master who “bought their freedom”. And they teach others to do same, all in the name of “it is working for me”.

The church belongs to Christ and anyone who is not preaching and upholding the sufficiency of the sacrifice at Calvary in the church is a false teacher. It doesn’t matter if he is called an apostle or a Bishop or a “daddy”.

They reject the righteousness that comes from God and go about establishing their own righteousness by cherry-picking different parts of the law and import them to the church. They are quick to retort, “it is biblical”.

Jesus is the message of the entire scriptures. If you don’t have this insight yet, you may be a blind guide leading the blind

These people have all the sanctimonious demeanor and the religious cliché but they are false teachers who keep denying the master who paid their ransom and teaching others to do same.

And Peter said many(crowds) will follow their immoral wrong ways.

Friends, beware of crowds! Beware of what is popular. That something is popular doesn’t make it right. Narrow is the way that leads to life. it is not broad.

It has already been foretold that false teachers are going to get popular. They will become “role models” to unsuspecting young people.

They are the kettle calling the pot black. They are the heretics that will be quick to call you heretics.

Their proteges and foot soldiers are everywhere and they will attack you as you seek to enthrone Christ and the sufficiency of His sacrifice.

Ironically many of them could recount with some uncanny details the gruesome way some of the apostles were killed, as if they were there. But the reason they were killed is lost on them.

The early apostles of Jesus Christ weren’t loved by the religious system of their days. They died defending the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, not the rudiments of the law found in the Bible.

Those who killed them wanted to silence the gospel, and enthroned the rudiments of the law that Christ came to take away.

Friends, don’t be deceived by the “form of godliness” you see in them, the religious organization is the greatest resistance to the gospel of Christ.

It is my prayer that God will keep opening people’s eyes in droves and give them the courage to stand for the truth.

It is a new day!

You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

YOUR ANCESTRAL CURSES HOLDING YOU DOWN?!!!

The *British* 🇬🇧 ancestors went on a killing and conquering rampage all across the world. The British Empire was built at the back of conquest and colonisation. Millions were starved and killed in India 🇮🇳, millions more were murdered across various African nations. Yet they flourish today, and having a better living. No Ancestral curse or sin of the forefathers is holding them down.

*USA* 🇺🇸 was built on the extermination (Native Americans) of one race And enslavement of another (African Americans). Their ancestors committed unimaginable atrocities and crimes against humanity. But today they’re regarded as the greatest nation on earth, they have a reasonable living. There’s no Ancestral curse or sin of the forefathers holding them down.

*Australia* 🇦🇺, committed the worst world un-talked about genocide. The aboriginal Australians have been technically wiped out. The Tasmanian Australian literally are extinct, all orchestrate by present day Australian ancestors. Yet they are living good, better quality of life. No Ancestral curse, no sin of the forefathers causing them poverty and misfortune.

*Germany* 🇩🇪, committed the forgotten horrific genocide in Namibia 🇳🇦. Same Germany caused the WW1 that claimed lives of millions, same Germany caused the WW2 that claimed millions of lives, including the 6million Jews and those killed in gas chambers. Today Germany is the European and world economic giant. Better living all round for her citizens. No Ancestral curse, no sin of the forefathers hindering their growth and development.

*Belgium* 🇧🇪, never forget that king Leopold II Of Belgium killed 15million Congolese and amputated thousands of innocent children for not picking enough cotton. Belgium is flourishing, developed and reasonably comfortable for her people. No Ancestral curse, no sin of the forefathers causing misfortune, hindering progress and growth.

But back home in Africa or should I say Nigeria and in Igbo land to be precise. These televangelist, pastors and fraudsters called men of god are busy extorting unsuspecting individuals and families their little hard earned money to liberate them from Ancestral curse and sin of the forefathers, which is apparently the cause of their misfortunes, breakdown in marriage and business. The deaths and road accidents are all linked to the Ancestral curse and even the father’s names you bear.
Ancestors you don’t even have any prove of what they did or didn’t do. But they are your problem? But why is the same curse not holding your counterparts from across the Atlantic, whom their own ancestors have documented atrocities?

I’m sure if these five countries, Uk 🇬🇧, USA 🇺🇸, Australia 🇦🇺, Germany 🇩🇪 & Belgium 🇧🇪 were to bring ships 🚢 and planes ✈ to Nigeria right now to start shipping and flying people to their countries for slave trade, millions will fight to be the first to enter.
Some will even come with their own chains, because they don’t want to be told, you can’t be enslaved because there’s no more chains 😂. Many of your pastors and Ancestral curse preachers will be the first to jump in. To be enslaved in countries their ancestors committed some of the worst and horrific world recorded evils.

NIGERIANS, There’s nothing like Ancestral curse or sin holding or stoping your family progress or community growth or our National development. Our choices, decisions, what we’ve done or haven’t done in various aspects of our lives are our problem. The ineptitude of our leadership class running our governments are the curses preventing our growth and development, not the so called “Ancestral curse”.

This is reality. Take responsibility, and start demanding for accountability and responsibility from your government.

CHURCH WITHOUT MERCY!

So I heard in the news today that Nigeria is not just playing host to the largest number of poor people in the world, but every passing second, six Nigerians fall below the poverty line.

This is simply mind-boggling! How do you reconcile this statistics in a country that parades 7 out of the 20 richest church owners in the world? How does it add up in a nation that parades the biggest and some of the most magnificent church buildings in the world?

Seriously Nigerians need to stop building church structures. It’s a waste of their scarce resources.

By now it should be clear to any discerning person that the multiplicity of church buildings in out society does not in any way translate to godliness. The more we multiply churches, the more corrupt and ungodly our society has become.

In any case, do we have have to be told that these structures don’t belong to Christ? these are business organizations disguising as the house of God. Many of them are pure one-man and family businesses.

They are a ruthless pyramid scheme. A case of “winners-take-all. They are conduit pipes to cater to the lusts and inordinate desires of a few men who sit at the pinnacle of their organizations.

Listen, the buildings are not yours! They don’t belong to Christ either! They belong to the owners and you aren’t one of them. They know themselves. Wake up friends!

You don’t need any gift of discernment to know this. With common sense you could decipher that only a few at the top are smiling to the bank, all in the name of Christ!

Read your Bible sir! The first church had a welfare structure that discouraged accumulation of wealth by a few. The Apostles didn’t sit on the money collected in their meetings and turn around to claim God was blessing them. No! They distributed to everyone as they had needs, so much so that none of the disciples had lack.

If this, or something close to it, is not happening in your church, I’m afraid it’s a business center, designed to cater to the need of a few. It has no resemblance to the first church.

Today, various denominations are in a frenzied competition to outdo one another in the number of new branches and church structures erected. Poor Nigerians are muzzled to undertake this with a false hope that they are building a house for God.

This is a fat lie. This is church without mercy. A church without mercy is fraud, it not the church of Christ.

The last thing the Nigerian christians need today is to build new church structures. We don’t need church buildings to serve God. The scriptures are clear that God doesn’t live in houses built with human hands (Acts 7:48, 17:24) .

Search your history sir, there was no single church building until about the 4th century After Christ ascension and there were believers who fellowshipped without them.

Whoever thinks church building is prime at a time like this is misguided. He has no clue what the church of Christ is. He may know the Bible from back to back but he knows next to nothing about the Jesus of the Bible.

By now it is obvious to anyone who cares to reason that the prosperity gospel bandied around in Africa is a hoax. For upwards of 3 decades that this gospel has taken over the landscape of the church, with all the paraphernalia of tithes, seed sowing and covenant givings, and with all the promise of open heavens, nigerians have only become poorer. But the church owners have grown richer.

See, let me say it the way it is, prosperity preachers are the only beneficiaries of the gospel they preach. And you are the victim. They know enough scriptures to sell lies to you. And that’s what they have done over the years. And if you have eyes to see, the results are staring you in the face.

If you have money to buy a block or Dangote cement, don’t buy to erect another church building, it is not God’s house. Rather, buy to provide shelter for the homeless. Use to build a small business for someone. it is high time we stopped building structures and started building people.

It’s bad enough that successive governments over the years have done a lot to impoverish Nigerians, it will be rather unfortunate not to find relief and solid welfare in the church.

I know many of my pastors friends will not like me for this. But it is, what it is. Church without mercy is fraud!

“Plato is my friend. Aristotle is my friend. But my greatest friend is the truth”.

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. But it may unsettle you first!

STARS OF GOD..

Isaiah 14:13
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE the STARS OF GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

“STARS OF GOD” are CHRISTians (“Christs” _a.k.a The Very Elect_)

Deuteronomy 1:10
The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day AS THE _STARS OF HEAVEN_ for multitude.

Judges 5:20
They fought from heaven; _the stars_ in their courses fought against Sisera.

“WANDERING STARS” are those who have sold their soul to Devil refusing to repent _and thus are FALLEN from grace_

Jude 1:13
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; WANDERING STARS, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

And if you read Genesis 1:26 with divine understanding, you’d do well to note that Lucifer -in Isaiah 14- was competing with MAN _created in God’s LIKEness_

Isaiah 14:14
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL BE LIKE the most High.

Lucifer wanted to be LIKE the most High _that is, he wanted to be MAN{who was created LIKE the most High. Genesis 1:26}_ and thus exalt himself above CHRISTians in that form..

Luke 10:18
“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

2 Thessalonians
2:3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that MAN OF SIN be revealed, the SON OF PERDITION;

2:4] Who opposeth and EXALTETH HIMSELF ABOVE ALL that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

You’d note from the above verses that Lucifer got his wish, thus becoming “MAN OF SIN {a.k.a SON OF PERDITION}”…

“LET US MAKE A NAME FOR OURSELVES”!

In the heart of heart, of the average Pentecostal preacher, old or young, is a desire to make a name for himself.

From those among us who are ostentatious to those who pick their steps one by one as if they couldn’t kill an ant, the ambition is real. They want to become “superstars”.

Believe me sir, much of the training you receive in bible schools, minister conferences and mentorship is geared towards training you to make a name for yourself “in ministry”.

Even the average believer is trained to think that God is to be used and not vice versa. This is all so wrong!!!

“… and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
II Corinthians 5:15 NKJV.

Unfortunately there are too many people in ministry today, great and small, who are just plain ambitious!

They aren’t burdened. They aren’t broken! They are just ambitious.

But ambitious people are dangerous people. They have done more violence to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The move of God in the hands of an ambitious person will hit the rock and go awry.

The gift of God in the hands of an ambitious man will turn to a weapon of manipulation.

As a keen observer and participant in the “Pentecostal” activities in the last few decades, I have seen gifted men and women travel the path of personal ambition misconstrued for God-given vision, trying to make a name for themselves.

But you can’t make a name for yourselves and make a name for Christ at the same time.They are mutually exclusive.

He is either increasing or you are increasing at His expense.

You are either projecting yourself or projecting Christ. You are either gathering people unto Christ or gathering people to yourself.

John the Baptist said concerning Jesus, “I must decrease while He must increase “.

Jesus’ first disciples were originally following John the Baptist. They left him to follow Christ because he pointed them to Him.

Today, many so-called Christians will defend their “papa” at the expense of Christ and the truth of the gospel. It is obvious who they have been introduced to.

Personal ambition is responsible for much of the activities you see in the religious circles today.

Let me be frank with you, the multiplicity of church buildings, the building of cities, institutions and monuments, ostensibly in Christ name are born out of personal ambitions, not a burden for the ministry of reconciliation.

Some persons who had been instructed to disperse all over the earth in Bible days conspired among themselves , “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; LET US MAKE A NAME FOR OURSELVES, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
Genesis 11:4 NKJV.

One would think it was a divine vision because they mentioned a tower reaching to the heavens, God’s throne, but God was not in it. They set out to build anyway !

In like manner today, men who have been called and anointed to be witnesses for Christ are busy building Babylon for themselves. But they lied to themselves and their listeners that they are building for Christ.

Beneath their pius skin is the ambition to be famous. They desire to be known. Incidental we didn’t see this kind of operation in the early church and the early apostles. I keep wondering where we got our own model from.

Sir, the gift of the Spirit you have received is not meant to make you famous. It is so that you may become a Witness for Christ.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be WITNESSES TO ME in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 NKJV

There are too many men behind the pulpits trying to prove to their listeners that they are called of God.

Sir, it is your ambition that’s driving you to prove anything to anyone. You only have to be a witness to the saving grace that’s in Christ Jesus.

But this Babylon must fall!

This Babylon is falling!

Christ is taking His church back from those who hijacked her for personal aggrandizement!

Christ is building His church (not with bricks, cement or human hands), where only him will be glorified and projected.

It is a new day!
