The “Head” is Christ. The body also is Christ. And every member of the body is “Christ”.
[It’s not only your head that bears your name, every part of your body is also inclusive]
So saying “I am Christ” or “We are True Christs” is not in anyway trying to usurp the position of “the head” or take its honor. It’s a confession born out of hidden mysteries being revealed.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 12:12
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:14
For the body is not one member, but many.
1 Corinthians 12:20
But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1 Corinthians 12:27
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
If a man filled with Devils can boldly answer “Jesus” in Luke 8:30 saying “I am Legion…”
…Why can’t a man filled with Christ -The WORD- even much more boldly come out to face the world (governed by Devil) and say “I am Christ”?
For Jesus to warn about the “false christs”, it means there would be the “true christs”.
The scriptures already said that “we all know in parts…”, meaning there are some parts you don’t know that others do… so it’s best not to be quick to call those other parts “error”, but in patience allow the Holy Spirit explain it better to you.
Those saying “I am Christ / We are Christs” now, are not saying “I am Jesus Christ who was crucified”, they’re simply saying “I am a carrier of The LIVING WORD”. They are acknowledging the “content” inside them, not ashamed of “Christ”.
“Christ IN me -Colossians1:27-” and “I am Christ” is saying same words in different ways. Because the Christ IN me can choose to speak through my body anytime, just as I -my spirit in me- also can speak through my body.
We need to understand that there is a difference between a container and it’s content. We are the container or vessel. Christ who lives in us is the content. Christ is not the container/vessel but the content.
We are the vessel, Christ is the content.
Those saying “I am Christ” now, are not saying “I am Jesus Christ who was crucified”, they’re saying “I am a carrier of The LIVING WORD / Jointheir”. They’re acknowledging the “content” inside them, not ashamed of Christ.
In conclusion, we are the temple of the LIVING God. God lives in us by His Spirit. Christ is God and we are His temple. We cannot say we are God just because he lives in us. We are God’s temple, not GOD himself.
Thus, saying “I am Christ” is not to claim worship from anyone but to acknowledge “The WORD” LIVING inside such believer.
Carrying Christ on the inside shouldn’t make anyone lord it over another but make such help others to SEE and KNOW that they also carry -or can carry- Christ INside.
And no matter what we say or do, we cannot usurp God’s honor or take His place.
We only come to the realization of who we are IN God to help us become better, not allowing Satan to keep tossing us to and fro..
Knowledge of Truth sets free, not puff one up.
